We’ve reached the final week of The Golden Posts Prize Program and I’m giving away the last of the free books. The calibre of posts that I’ve seen over the last month has been fantastic. I hope you’ve been as inspired as I have.
All winners have won the SitePoint book of their choice in either print (stock permitting) or digital bundle.
Hi Karin Sue,
Thanks for the feedback, I’m glad you enjoyed the posts.
That is a really good idea and one that we’ve discussed. There is a bit of work involved in running the program so it’s on hold while we work on a couple of other things, but I certainly haven’t ruled it out permanently.
I will say that the contest successfully scared me away for the entire month of May, but feel I can come back now with no pressure that anyone is critiquing my helpfulness. ^^;;
I’ve enjoyed the golden post threads. Is there any chance you could continue it?
If you don’t want to award books every week maybe you could give each winner a chance in a periodic drawing. Or perhaps they would be satisfied with a pat on the back.
Screw congratulations… that’s the same old rubbish everyone peddles out when they don’t take the prize. What about some of my excellent posts? I demand a recount !!!
I think that should say either; to [give] it more clarity. or; make it more [clear].
Though originally it was slightly “confusing” when the files that were being mentioned; didn’t exist as such… but we found out why later on.
I was surprised it was considered for the ‘Golden Post’ as it wasn’t particularly great or anything. Albeit it did have a vein of tenacity running through it.
Damn, and I thought the ‘HAWK PM’ was going to ask me about starting the: ‘See Who Can Shrink the PNG The Most!’ contest.
Anyway, thanks for the encouragement and I’ll have to ponder, which bundled-leaves of words I’ll choose.
Also well done to the other five category winners.
Congrats everyone. These are my favourite competitions where most people don’t even know they’re involved until they find out they’ve won and have a prize - great surprise!
