When I found that I can buy images for 1$, I stopped searching for free images… It isn’t payable at all. Simple, choose one of the stock agencies according to your needs, pay 10-20$ for credits and enjoy in cheap images.
By the way, almost all images are first class images. Top quality…

Would like to add my 2 pennies worth and say I use Free Stock Photos for all mine - the photos there are completely free (at web rez) and royalty free!

Great list. I would add Fotolia.com as an inexpensive alternative to the completely free sites. A few months ago I spent hours and hours looking for just the right photos for a website I was working on. I came across fotolia and for $1 per photo had the last four I needed in a matter of minutes. I wished I could have had the time back that I spent looking at much more marginal pictures on the free sites.
