Email Setup 1and1 VPS

Hi

I am trying to setup my email on 1and1.com VPS / Google Apps.

Sending / receiving email from google apps work.

The problem is with 1and1, if I send an email to another domain it works,
but if I send it to an email which is on the same domain it doesn’t.

Example:
Sending email from the website (mywebsite.com)
Sending email to example@mywebsite.com DOSN’T WORK
Sending email to example@anotherwebsite.com WORKS!!

(sending email through gmail works fine all ways)

Any ideas? I contacted 1and1 and they don’t seem to be helpful.

Ah, another vote for 1&1 as bad host for the year. Too close to call between 1&1 and GoDaddy, though.

Sorry, the best advice is to find a good host (see my signature for one I can recommend - and they have specialty accounts, too!).

First thing to check is the mail server logs for errors (probably /var/log/maillog )
