Client CMS for one section of website

Is it possible to use a CMS to control a single section that exists on several pages of a website?

The reason I need this is that I built a website for a client and now they want to be able to update this single section on the pages themselves regularly.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Drupal can do it easily with Access Control Lists (ACL). I do believe that as of today Joomla has this feature as well. Finally it can be done with Wordpress but requires a lot of hacking.
