Can someone tell me WHAT these odd blog sites are?

I just discovered a BUNCH of these odd looking blogs that all have the same basic format, all have some some version of the same POORLY written articles that link to the site of a reseller of my products. I should also mention that none of these sites are even remotely close to the subject matter of my products. In many of the posts, there are unrelated youtube videos inserted as well.

and a lot more!

Can someone enlighten me as to what the heck happened here?

Dax,

I can’t be certain of this just looking at the blogs but from what you describe, this looks like a tiered linking strategy where a marketer will build multiple web properties on sites like wordpress.com or blogger.com or wherever and link them back to a main site. They do this in order to obtain backlinks and in general get more exposure for the main website.

Content is generally of low quality because in order for this strategy to be effective, many websites must be made in a relatively short period of time. Naturally writing good content takes a lot of time so marketers will either buy one piece of writing or write it themselves and then spin the content so they can come up with many different unique articles. The only thing is that spun content is content essentially written by a machine and creates a very poor user experience to read.

Not saying that these are all definitely created by the same person or that it is in fact a tiered linking strategy or something similar, but that’s what it looks like from what you describe and from what the websites look like.

Best,

Shawn

The SEOer related products you are implementing multi-tiered backlink SEO campaign. They use the system to Wordpress Blog and diversification of links. Use them as a stepping stone to promote the website they want to SEO keywords. You should monitor and study them. As the YouTube video is to help their customers save web pages to create a longer amount of “time on site” is stable …

I think that they are created by the same person or that it is in fact a tiered linking strategy or something similar, but that’s what it looks like from what you describe and from what the websites look like.

It would make sense if for example, a shady SEO company owned all these domains under a single hosting account and use them to create backlinks to the site. But what about the fact that they all appear to be hosted by different hosting companies? They are all privately registered (domains by proxy which is godaddy) as far as I can see…
