Build Your Own ASP.NET 3.5 WEB SITE (Need help)

Hello people

After reading build your own website the right way using html and css I instantly became a fan of sitepoint so I purchased Build Your Own ASP.NET 3.5 WEB SITE to learn asp.net so now after installing visual web developer the book is telling me to download sql server management studio express which is now out dated and corrections and typos site is telling me to install “SQL Server 2008 Express with Advanced Services” which is already installed so what should I do next? becuase I only want to move on if everything is working correctly.

so some guidance and advice would be very helpful.

Hi abs.

I found the same thing mate, but installing the sql server management console from the microsoft site worked a treat. Everything else has worked well and does exactly what the book says it will do. At least, that’s my experience.

There might be some minor UI differences, but the Sql 2008 tools will work just fine for the book.
