We have recently changed the UI of our website, trafiic is ok but our bounce rate has gone up in Google Analytics from 20% to 40%,
what cound have been the reason, can anyone please tell me.

oriya, why don’t you use Google Website Optimiser to run the new and the old versions of your UI, see which performs better. But make sure nothing else has changed because if your UI isn’t causing the bounce rate increase then it might be your traffic that’s changed.
The bounce rate for the site as a whole is not very useful. Look at the bounce rates for inividual pages and identify the outliers. General questions you might ask are whether it’s harder now for visitors to find links to other pages on the site. Are the more important pages prominently linked? Can they find stuff?
