Hi All,
One of my client’s websites is doing something strange. When you view the site withthe www, it resolves to an error page, when you visit the site without the www, all is ok.
I have not touched any pages on the site in some time, and don’t know why this is happening. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I’m sorry to say this, but both of those links go to an error page for me.

Well that’s no good…!
What’s the error page for you? For me, it goes right to http://dnssearch.rr.com/?q=www.remarkbooks.biz&con=nxd and says “Sorry, we couldn’t find www.remarkbooks.biz entered.”
Any specific thing that may be causing this?

Hmmm, I really don’t know. Are you sure the domain has not expired?
The message I get is:
Firefox can’t find the server at remarkbooks.biz.

That was one of the first things I looked into. Domain doesn’t expire until 2012.
Can you try and access the site directly through the address: http://74.52.113.226/~remarkb2/
Please let me know if the site pulls up for you that way.
Thanks.

That certainly goes to the site. Are you sure the domain name is pointing to the site?

Also noticed that lesdesign.com is not getting through either. Both of the sites use the ACTORDATE.COM domain servers.

I emailed hostgator support and they found that there was an issue with the nameserver settings.
Can you please recheck lesdesign.com from your end and let me know if it now goes through?
Thanks.
