I’m using a purchased template. When I perform an audit in Google’s Lighthouse I receive a notice about a vulnerability for a library version I’m referencing - JQuery 1.11.3 along with a suggestion that this version be replaced with the newest version - jQuery 3.3.1. If I make that change, test my site and see a problem, is it just a matter of changing back to the old library and republishing? Or, do I have to save a copy of the site and revert back to that copy if there is a problem? I don’t understand what the jQuery liibrary does so I don’t know how it might effect my site. Thanks!
These upgrade guides are the most that you’d have to do.
You can try the upgrade and if things still work as they’re expected to, nothing else needs to be done.
