Are Links To Inner Pages Of Your Site Better As Anchor Text On Homepage, or just available in a dropdown list?
Wondering if providing links as actual keyword anchor text links directly on the homepage willl work better in terms of SEO for those inner pages, or just provide them as a set of links in a dropdown? I say it’s actually my first thought. See those links at very bottom of this page that takes visitors to inner pages.
See the dropdown list at far right of the top menu on this page. I wish I could find an article that provides definitive proof on either of these theories…

If the dropdown is not a javascript driven one, i think it`s the same in terms of SEO. Btw , your second link does not work,

It does now. :)[/ot]

According to me it is good to give links in your inner pages too as it help users easily going to each page of your site. In the place of drop down menu, you can also use a site map. It is in a tree shape and contain all the links of your site at one place.

Hehe, i didnt analyze why it doesnt work at the time, but still the same; being a css dropdown it has the same SEO value, no difference.

thanks for your insightful responses!
