I am considering an ecommerce venture of a highly seasonal nature (about 3 months out of the year). I expect to draw most of my traffic from Adwords, at least initially. The estimator tool is showing me about 30 projected clicks per day for my keywords. Google Trends shows that those keywords are heavy during the three months of selling season and nil the rest of the year (naturally). So, does anybody have an idea/guess as to whether or not Google’s estimator algorithm is annualized? If so, I think it’s reasonable to suppose that I could draw 3-4 times as much traffic as projected during the “on” months.
Opinions would be appreciated.
