Advertising on Facebook

Hello dxter,

Just be careful that you read the terms of any ads that you place on facebook
as many of them do not want to be advertised that way.

I did a few ads on facebook and the money finished off quickly with no results

Advertising on Facebook is a best way to promote your business and create friendly relation with people.Facebook is most popular social netorking site in the world and huge traffic as we know all that’s why we use Facebook for the advertising!

I think its good if you getting traffic from facebook ads because it mean you are getting too much new visitors and if they will take any interest in your product then they will shown any interest so it totally depend on your product, If your product will like by someone then sure they will go for buy.

Social media is a good places to explore but the success depends upon the product and the way of presenting it…
Sometimes products are good but its promotion failed due to a comparatively low stranded promotion and the product may have not success as it deserves.
It also depends upon the needs of related users…

I also tried fb ads for my site but who really are not capable, it’s not like google

We had some serios impact on our clients website <snip/> and it was all do follow…

FB ads is pretty expensive and sometimes useless. Theyll give you likes and visits to your FB pages, but youll never get any conversions out there.

Better do some intelligent mixture of SEO and social media marketing, concerning the last thing, facebook is not the only possibility! And as the others said, it always depends on your target group.

make your facebook post little bit of quitty and clever type and try to offer some type of perks which create a buzz amongst user to like your page…and try to like pages and videos which relate to your topic it helps a lot in term of advertising

I have tried using FaceBook advertising on the right side, on several occasions, for myself and my clients. Although I have gotten clicks, they were generally bounces, and almost never resulted in sales. People are on FaceBook to socialize, have fun, or be entertained, not necessarily to find something to buy. If you are sending people to socialize, have fun, or be entertained with your advertising, perhaps the results can be good. Otherwise, I’d try other methods of marketing.

Facebook is really a good place to advertise…Today every body is on facebook and so it ia the best way to make the people to know about ant thing…It is the good way to generate traffic…

May be your product is not get perfect advertising at Facebook. Facebook has lots of users like all age, all community, all status, etc. So, when you use this platform for advertise your product than it must get few success.

Assuming that you have a business, or you claim an organization, or you need to unfold the scope of your online business, then, Facebook is one of the best stages that you may as well use becoz your ads can have more exposure and emphasis on users’ pages due to the reduced amount displayed.

Facebook is right option for advertising but do make sure to do some A/B testing before doing an big amount investment as many people are getting an valuable results on it and also the product which you adverting really matters on Facebook…

While facebook advertising might get you likes, I wouldn’t recommend just sticking to that. You should probably consider other options that would give you more benefits

Hi

I agree with your opinion in product selling ads in FB. But i am thinking to place ads for FB Page Likes, can we get expected page likes through FB Ads… ?

This is true. Most of the time you’ll end up with ‘nothing’.

Advertising on Facebook really works because I have tried it myself. It depends on you which product you are promoting. If you could promote the best products and services, I am sure you will be successful.

Here is the 6 Ways Brands Can Take Advantage from Facebook’s New Promotion Policy:

Facebook recently announced increased flexibility for the page based promotions by allowing businesses to hold contests for their followers on the timeline instead of through apps. Businesses need to take advantage of this new promotion policy since facebook is a widely used platform with global reach. Here are six ways on how brands can capitalize on it.

1. Increase follower numbers
Running a promotion on the page makes it easier to increase the number of followers you have. All you need to do is make it clear that winners will only be selected from page fans. Because you are not asking for access to personal data through app likes, more people will join. Furthermore, since the timeline is easily accessible across all devices, the potential follower base is much larger.

2. Reward loyalty
Use timeline promotions to reward follower loyalty, thereby making their interaction with the page entertaining and consistent. For example, ask about an update that you put up a while back and reward the first person who gets it right. This way, followers will not just like and ignore but participate and engage.

3. Surprise followers
Put up a surprise time limited promotion on the timeline with simple participation rules. The idea is to increase follower participation on the page.

4. Build rapport with followers
Timeline promotions allow you to build rapport with followers be engaging them in a non-restrictive environment. Make promotions more like a conversation between the follower and you. If you do, you will earn their loyalty and trust.

5. Collect follower data
Social media users will provide you with useful data if you ask nicely. Create a promotion that is based around the details that you need, and your followers will oblige.

6. Increase participation
Timeline promotions allow for increased interaction between the follower and you. Use available tools such as photo comments to make the promotion as interactive and lively as possible. This will help grow your fan base.
