funny to see how some got their awards already.

On those cases I think it was because they were either the only nominated party or those who were nominated said they didn’t want to be included which immediately gave them eligibility as a winner. It is interesting seeing all the people who were considered for an award though, some really good forum contributors

Good luck to everyone - especially the new names!

hope to be a better member!

I find it both a positive thing, but also a shame too that on most of the votes I wanted to vote for a member that had withdrawn from being voted for. Some great people here on these SitePoint forums and I’m glad I’m a member of such a fantastic community.

All the best to the nominated members

[FONT=“Georgia”]hahaha, You know I’d thought of that last year but I never got time to.

Not really ‘Apache’ but REGEX; Most of the questions seem to be along that line, and it would have helped me in my PHP too.

Lol yes I think I remember you saying that (a couple weeks ago I was going through old threads in the News and Annoucements)

You don’t have to be up to his skill, that’d be too hard, just contribute and at least he will have a running mate :stuck_out_tongue:

Honestly, I don’t understand what the big deal is about competing with each other? In fact I don’t care if I get absolutely 0 votes at all. I know I’ve become a better developer. Noone and an reward doesn’t have to tell me that.

Now I’m thinking about canceling out from the awards…

Voted.

Lol it’s not a big deal at all. Friendly competition makes it so that one person won’t monopolize the field ;). A little competition never hurts.

Off Topic:

Let me know if you do cancel yourself…
