Excellent rebuttal. Frankly, I think it's absured to say you don't need artistic creativity to build a good website. It's like saying you don't need a thumb for a thumb's up.
Even with tools like HTML and CSS, you need the artistic creativity to use these tools properly.
Is design dead? It's just learning how to walk.
