What is currently the best AI workflow for building dynamic WordPress websites?

Hi everyone,

I’m a WordPress developer and I’m exploring AI-powered workflows to speed up website development while still maintaining professional quality.

My current stack includes:

  • WordPress
  • Elementor Pro
  • Custom PHP development when needed

I’m looking for the most efficient AI workflow for building dynamic websites such as:

  • Business websites
  • Real estate websites
  • Therapy/healthcare websites
  • Service-based websites
  • Directory websites

Some questions:

  1. What AI tools are you currently using for UI/UX design?
(Lovable, Bolt, v0, Figma AI, Relume, etc.)

  2. What is the best way to convert AI-generated designs into WordPress/Elementor?

  3. Are you generating sections individually or entire websites?

  4. How do you handle dynamic content such as:

    • Custom Post Types
    • ACF fields
    • Dynamic listings
    • Search & filtering
  5. Is there an AI tool that can generate production-ready Elementor layouts with responsive desktop, tablet, and mobile designs?

  6. For client projects, what workflow gives the best balance between speed, design quality, and maintainability?

I’d love to hear real-world experiences and recommendations.

Thanks!

Bro, AI is great for accelerating ideation, wireframes, copy, and repetitive tasks, but I’ve found the biggest gains come from combining AI with a solid WordPress architecture rather than trying to generate entire production websites.

For dynamic projects (ACF, CPTs, listings, filters), I still build the data structure first and use AI mainly for layouts, content, and code assistance.

The workflow that scales best is: strategy → AI-assisted wireframes → WordPress/Elementor implementation → manual refinement. AI can save hours, but maintainability still comes from good development practices.

You probably will get better responses from posts that are more specific. You are asking six questions as one question. Probably question #2 and others depend on the answer from question #1.

It is frustrating when someone says best in a question. What is best for me might be lousy for you. Instead of asking what is best, try to define your requirements. You have provided very little about what features you consider to be best.

I suggest beginning by researching what is available. Try to analyze each of them. Do the best you can to determine advantages and disadvantages. To begin, ask Google Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot. Ask them what relevant tools they offer. Decide whether you want something online or if you want a tool you can use in your local system. For example Gemini offers a Native Desktop App but Google offers Google AI Studio & API that can be used in Visual Studio Code.

Cursor is a fork of Visual Studio Code with AI integrated.

Theia IDE – AI-Native Open-Source Cloud and Desktop IDE is also a fork of Visual Studio Code. It has very extensive support of AI but ti might be too complicated for you.

Also something you can do is to write a prompt requesting something, such as creating a simple website or just a page in a website and use the same prompt in multiple virtual assistants.

Do some research, post more specific questions, get better answers.
