Database Engineer

Database Engineer Outside IR35 (6 months initially) Fully Remote £480 p/d My client is a public service organisation in need of an Engineer with experience across database management and infrastructure, to support them in their move from legacy on-prem databases to new, cloud-native solutions. They also need support to maintain their existing on-prem DB estate. Responsibilities Support the major version upgrade of the current on-prem MongoDB estate Support the major version upgrades to multiple on-prem Postgres databases Support the development teams with on-prem migrations to AWS Support the DB team with ongoing BAU tasks such as upgrades, patching, automation etc. Skills Required Ansible CDK and AWS Development Tools including CloudFormation OpenSearch / ElasticSearch AWS IAM, S3, EC2, RDS MongoDB Postgres SQL Monitoring solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana) If you're interested in this, please apply.
