I’m using drop down menu in my page. My question is will that link get indexed by google and other popular search engines.
As far as I know, links in dropped down buttons are not getting indexed. But, honestly, I’m not sure of it. I suggest you create an HTML page Sitemap, just to make sure all your pages get indexed.
The content within the dropdown menu (<select>) will be indexed. However, if you’re using this type of menu and some javascript as site navigation Google is not going to follow those links because they’re done with javascript and not a HTML <a></a> tag.
