I’ve been working on improving my site’s visibility, but I’ve noticed that several pages remain unindexed even after multiple weeks.
I already submitted the sitemap in Google Search Console, and the coverage report shows a mix of “Discovered – currently not indexed” and “Crawled – not indexed.” I’m now focusing on on-page and technical SEO, but I’d really appreciate some community insights on what else to look for.
So far, I’ve:
Improved internal linking between related pages
Optimized load speed and mobile usability
Reduced duplicate meta descriptions and titles
Added schema where applicable
Despite these, indexing still feels slow or inconsistent.
Has anyone faced a similar issue recently? What worked best for you — was it more about content quality, crawl budget, or backlinks?
For reference, I noticed faster indexing improvements after updating internal links on one of my pages, but I’m still experimenting with other fixes.

Search Console should give you some reason why the pages are not indexed under “Why pages aren’t indexed” in Page Indexing report.
That should give you some idea of what to fix.
When I found several pages without any relevant information about why it wasn’t indexed, in those cases, I clicked on the “ Request Indexing” and usually in the lapse of 3 days the page came up.
Keep in mind, there is a limit on the number of pages you can request for indexing by day, somewhere around 20.
I also noticed that even when the Search Console was referencing a page as “Indexed,” that didn’t mean it was available in the search result, in that case, for the most relevant pages, I have requested indexing again.
