Am a tad out of touch with the hosting market, having not researched it for about 7 years. Who’s the best nowadays for servers physically in the UK, 500Gb bandwidth, 80Gb Diskspace, 99.99 uptime, unlimited domains, 24/7 livechat, ability to do php includes from one of my sites to another of my sites and cPanels.
Any thoughts and opinions appreciated.

I’ve heard great things about Heart Internet. My reseller is with FastHosts and despite all of the bad press they’ve had, I’ve never had any problems with them. Their customer service could be a bit better but the hosting itself is spot on.
Clook.co.uk, their support is second to none. You get what you pay for. I know from experience that you can do includes between WHM/Server accounts (atleast you can on the dedicated server we had).
You don’t have to have your server physically located in the UK. You are limiting your range of great hosts that way. You should consider looking at North America - Canada and America more specifically.

Just had a look at clook - £40 a month for how much bandwidth? Yep, 105 Gb?? Any other good hosts out there?
Like I said above, you get what you pay for with Clook. If you want resources with little to no support maybe you should be looking towards an unmanged VPS? 1and1? Their support is terrible but atleast your not paying a premium for it.
If you are really going to use that much bandwidth then surely your going to need a server that can support the traffic RAM and CPU wise.
Will give it some more thought

rackspacecloud.com, We have been using Rackspace for last three years and they are very good. They have Datacentre in UK and you can select server form UK
it depends what your budget is, you can find cheap dedicated servers at fdcservers and burst and if you want cheap shared hosting with such unlimited package visit hostgator all have nice and excellent support.
I too use rackspace, they focus on commercial/corporate users so many of their products are aimed at high performance/flexibility, but you can sign up for a Cloud Servers/Files account and control your own server(s) fully in their excellent Control Panel. It requires some server knowledge, unless you buy Managed Cloud hosting, but good thing we have sites like sitepoint for help/guides

Actually, 99% uptime would be quite bad. It’s not what they advertise, nor what they achieve, in my experience. 99.9%+ uptime, over a long period of time, is what I’ve seen from them.
There are many good hosts which provide quality 24/7 support and industry standard uptimes. One of the best things that I think that you can do to find the type of host you need is to read some reviews. Don’t base your decision on one bad or only a few good reviews but what other users are saying overall. Another consideration is a guarantee. Read the details of the guarantee before you sign up for any service.
