Which wysiwyg to use

Hello everyone,

I build a basic alpha state for my cms and implemented mercury editor ( version 1) to use.
But could not get the editor to allow advanced image manipulation ( title, alt, width & height ).

Tried changing the main code for the editor but could not get it to work so I am looking for a wysiwyg that is easily extendable and easy to use.

I know CKeditor and TinyMCE but not sure which one would be better.
Also if you know another editor that fits my idea please bring them to my attention.

In my opinion CKeditor takes some beating. The primary reason is that you can easily tailor the editor with custom configurations for various scenarios. For instance if you have a content input field where you want to limit the formatting options toolbar available to the author then it’s easily done - the last thing you want is every toolbar button on every field.
