Which Of These 7 Keyword Tools Is Accurate Google Says 110,000 Searches A Month!

I need to find out from some seo experts which keyword tool is accurate that I can
rely on before I spend weeks trying to rank for a exact match high traffic keyword.

Would comparing google’s trends & google insights for the keyword
and if they pretty much match be one way.

Here’s the results from the seven keyword tools doing a exact
keyword search.

Google AdWords Tool: 110,000
Seobook: 8,307
Wordtracker: 4,710
KeywordSpy: 201,000
Keyword Discovery: 749
Spyfu 3,016
Semrush 27,100

Google Adwords is the most accurate out of the listed.
SECockpit is more accurate than google adwords.
Its bit pricey but you should still check it out.

Why do you think SECockpit is more accurate than google adwords.

How do you know that? or are you making it up?

Almost all of those tools are getting their data from different sources and for the most part a lot of their data is limited and only a portion of the true traffic volume so they have to estimate.

That being said none of them are truly accurate, but you could make an argument that since Google has 65% - 70% of search traffic in the US, it might be the closest to the true traffic volume but there is no way to tell for sure.

It’s all crap. Nothing gives you accurate figures

Best thing i think you can do is setup an adword campaign, set it so it’s low down, say poition 7 on the 1st page and you can then track impressions accurately.

I am on page one on yahoo/bing for 2 kewyord that it say get similar results to google…Around 40,000 for each. I am getting around 1 click a day.

I’ve just checked my adword account for these kewyords. In the last year, running ad on and off I am getting less than 10,000 impressions A YEAR not A Month…
