Which is the best web application framework to start with PHP?
What do you mean by “best” @rasinbekkevold? Easiest to install? Easiest to use? Cheapest? Most flexible? Something else?
Cake Php , Zoomla
Laravel is probably the best, in my opinion, partly because it has a great community and support system with all the available tutorials. Having said that, I found CodeIgniter very easy to learn and put to use building applications fairly quickly.
none.
without knowing PHP itself, you cannot resolve any framework issues that may pop up.
If you are learning PHP go with Codeignitor, because it is easy to learn code and customize.
I believe it depends on a specific developer, their preferances, projects they take on, and their skill set. Besides, if a PHP developer is qualified enough, they can implement any project with any framework. The Laravel framework is currently the most popular choice but personally I enjoy working with Zend. However I might be a light biased about this one, as I’m a certified Zend developer.
