Sitepoint once had a job board where I could post job listings and find some really great professionals. What happened? I am looking for someone $15-$30/hr to provide our clients with design, HTML, CSS, and some PHP.

We appreciate that you asked first.
Do I need to connect my account on SitePoint to create an account on Flippa? In what way are they connected? Should I pay there to post in Classified thread? Thanks a lot!
“The success of Flippa is due in no small part to the passionate people in our software development and customer support teams that live, eat, and breathe everything Internet. Flippa is part of the large and nurturing SitePoint family of web start-ups that includes 99designs, Learnable, and SitePoint Market.”
“History of Flippa. - The roots of Flippa hark back to the original SitePoint Marketplace in 2005 (now SitePoint Market).”
“Investors in Flippa include Mark Harbottle and Matt Mickiewicz, the founders of the successful online media and publishing company SitePoint, (…)”
So I think SitePoint and Flippa are legally independent companies, but have strong historical and personal connections.
Guess SitePoint has brought the SPmarket domain name to the market, and successfully.
BTW, Flippa says “The #1 place to buy and sell websites, domains and apps”, and I didn’t see the possibility to post a message for hiring developing people. I that correct?
Yes, but that was not the question
There are no connections between your account here on the forums, and Flippa. You need to register there as well if you want to use Flippa, you can’t use your SPF account (or vice-versa).
