What's an orthographic image?

I have a client that wants me to make them business cards and I need to come up with a design. They asked if I could put one of their products on the card and make it an orthographic image. Basically it is what remains if light were to shine through when you combine both a negative and a positive negatives.

But, does anyone have an example of such an image? I tried doing a search but I’m not sure of whether something is orthographic or not.

Thanks for any clarification!

I think you are misunderstanding the Orthographic projection term.
It’s just a way of presenting a three dimensional object in two dimensions.
Unlike a perspective view, all parallel edges remain parallel, as there’s no vanishing point.

Of course you can apply transparencies or other effect to your orthographic image later on.
