Hi I have a domain that doesn’t work unless I type the whole www. how do I make it work so that you don’t need to type www. I know I have to create a A record or something but thats all I know.
It seems you need to get in touch with your web host explain the problem and ask to fix.
That is the problem on side of web hosting.
The problem is basically related to DNS settings of your domain. You can contact your hosting provider and ask them to make the required changes.
You need to consult your webhosting provider and need to add A record means www record must point to A record of your domain. You can do it from DNS Zone editor.

You can start the transfer from Account Manager. You will require the two new DNS server names from your hosting company or ISP
Add www alliance for your web site through control panel on your web hosting account. Good luck
