Domain name without www prefix

Hello all,

Please forgive me if this is a basic question. I recently bought a domain name, my problem is www-.-mydomain-.-com is taking me to my home page but when I type mydomain-.-com, it shows a parked domain page! How do I make it redirect to my home page?

This is something that’s configured at the hosting level. Look through your hosting control panel or ask the host.

Install 301 redirect in your htaccess file or simple ask your web hosting company about that. They should help

If you cant find the problem as your domain registrar to check the A records. There are 2, one for http:// and one for www. You should be able to set them to go to the same place.

I have the same problem on one of the sites … On hosting seems to be all right …

This would be adjusted in your ‘A’ records.

Please read the thread carefully. It seems the problem was solved
