I am sure you will enjoy playing them…
You can give your feedback and request for a game to be added or removed from this list.

haven’t been gaming in 10 years now, but my list would be:

Mr Do’s Castle
Pacman
Ports of Call
Sim City
Midtown Madness
Star Wars Episode I: Racer

These are obviously based on my own personal experience, I’m sure I haven’t played some of those that are considered as top games by the experts (ex. I never played Half-Life or Fallout, etc.).

Games from the 90s:

Doom
Wolfenstein 3D
Duke Nukem 3d
Quake
Blood
Warcraft
Diablo
GTA 1 to 2
Jagged Alliance 2
NBA Live 2000
Civilization 1, 2

Games from the 2000s and today:

GTA 3 to 4
Civilization 3, 4
NBA Live series until '09
NBA 2k series from 09
Assassin’s Creed
Just Cause
The Godfather

But if there’s one game I’d call the best ever, it would be any of the GTA 3 and up.

Those were heck of 10 years. I remember Midtown Madness… good old days. Back then I wished they’ve created a mix of MM and GTA 2. And guess what, they did. You should get it and get back to gaming, 10 years is 10 years too long :stuck_out_tongue:

Unfortunately, I don’t have any time to play and the last game I played was 2 years ago (Devil May Cry which I quite like although it wasn’t perfect)

Wolfenstein 3D was addictive although the first person view sometimes made me a bit dizzy.

But I like games with a story behind so I am a fan of Adventures and that kind of stuff.

Cannon Fodder (Amiga + others)

  • it kept me awake for weeks when it came out, damn that hidden enemy solidier with the bazooka

Ah, how could I forget that one. I played the PC version. Unfortunately couldn’t complete it… what a shame!

 you guys are such kids!

My favourite pc games were:

Heretic, Doom, The Sims 2, Sim Copter, Exhumed, Quake and BBS Jane Seymour - not everyone remembers that last one but I played that for hours!! I also played this game where it was in a mafia style setting and you had to build like gadget factories and hire workers and basically work for the mob  that was good! Can’t remember the name of it though :confused2

[FONT=“Georgia”]I kid you not; I’ve been itching to play Super Mario World again for months now.

Best game ever.

For PC games, I’d go with Starcraft.

How could i forget this one. i played it for a couple of months - before i retired from the gaming scene :shifty:

I love gaming, but it started to slowly take control of my life, friends came to visit, but i didn’t even know they had been here :stuck_out_tongue:

But one day a friend from out of town came to visit me, and wanted me to go to a party in the neighbour village (it’s almost a tradition to be at this party), it was hard to be disturbed in the middle of a winning lap in Pod Racer, and i kept thinking: “can’t this man go away” :stuck_out_tongue:

This dude didn’t give up so easily, and suddenly i woke up thinking: “what the hell am i doing here, wasting all this time” and got dressed -> went to the party, and have never played again

Ah you missed the awesome last level… I was down to my last 3 grunts having lost dozens through the last few levels which were incredibly tough. As I remember is was about 4am and I was due at work in a couple of hours!

“get orf my land” - he he

This is a “hard” thread mates.

However, my no 1 would be Starcraft. Still waiting for Starcraft II, though I am sure I will not have so much time to play like in the old days.

Dude, moderation. You’re missing one of the joys of life

That seriously must be the toughest game ever created. I’m tempted to go back and finish it once and for all.

[COLOR=“DarkRed”]I can’t believe that no one has posted IL-2 Forgotten Battles. WWII flight sim FTW. Halo PC edition was a good one too. It was the first game I have ever modded myself without a gameshark or AR. Sorta off topic, Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare: Reflex on the Wii is one of my favorites (off topic because it is a console not pc).
One more thing: PM me if you have the game and want my F/C, you give me yours and I will give you mine ^_[1]

Wow, they need to add Counter-Strike and Counter-Strike Source on there!

GTA4 and Episiodes From Liberty City (EFLC) are good though EFLC seems to crash a fair bit. It’s not down to lack of ram on the graphics card as I turn the graphics detail level down a fair way. I used to play Cannon Fodder on an old Acorn computer (most members have probably not heard of that computer brand or don’t remember them). Sensible Soccer was another good one. There was one mission where you ahd about 5 secs to command your troops to get into a helicopter and take off before a gun turret fired at you.

I used to play years ago a game called Diggers, it was a strategy game where you had to win a level by either mining jewels and trading them in at the bank, till you reached a target amount of money or by eliminating the enemy miners. Midtown Madness 2 was a good game, you could even take short cuts down the tube lines.

I couldn’t imagine playing GTA4 on the PC  that would be just too weird for me!

I found out what the Mafia game was…it was called Mob Rule!

Unreal Tournament 2k4
Any of the Command and Conquer series

Indeed, I’ve bought a new machine mainly for this thing and the devil keeps crashing on me! But it seems there are many people with the issue.

Gotta buy EFLC soon.

Well, I’m used to playing GTA games on PC but I can imagine myself playing it with a gampad. In fact I tried to play it with one but the bloody thing doesn’t work!

One thing I didn’t like about EFLC is that it doesn’t make use of the GTA4 files, imo if a person already has GTA4 installed then it should just install the extra content to the hard drive and where the data is covered by gta4 use that.

So Saul what are you doing then? Frantically clicking with the mouse take that you baddies
