SitePoint T-shirts - What Went Wrong?

Maybe we should ask people again which ones they prefer?

I’ll second that they are hard to find, way too hard to find.

Honestly I don’t think the designs that won were very original or worth buying.

The “In code we trust” is OK but nothing we haven’t heard before. While simplicity can be great design, I would have liked to see something more artistic than just text on a shirt (as if there weren’t a million of those out there). And a sports feel? Really? I’m a geek, not a jock.

The “Become a better web developer” shirt just feels cheap. I’m a Mac geek to the core but the mouse just feels dated, using anything that specific just lends itself to drop out of what’s current. The design also feels amateurish. I don’t know how this became a winning entry but it never should have made it that far. I really like a lot of the other designs that didn’t make it (designs I would have happily bought). I even really like this one by the same designer, bonus points for not being on a white t-shrt:

Personally I like the look and feel of these as well:

Both design and code are art. They should be portrayed as such.

I don’t like t-shirt or shirt that one is promoting some compnay or site.
