A screenshot is simply an image, so I see no reason why you would treat it differently to other images; provide a text alternative for those unable to view the image for whatever reason (which, of course, includes search engine bots). http://webaim.org/techniques/alttext/
For screenshots I think you should take them with the same size so that they look clean and conforming. you also have to give it a name & ALT text.
There are no topic ( Screenshot Optimization) in SEO. Image optimization are really good for seo. Open your image in Photoshop and fill file info there. Always use ALT and title when call your image.
I would agree that you should always provide alt text for images (as I’ve already explained in this topic). However, you should only add title text if it’s appropriate, not as a method of keyword stuffing. Do not add the same text as both alt and title, as screen readers are likely to read out both, thus becoming very repetitive.
