I want to transfer my domain from one registrar to another.
The gaining registrar is attempting to charge me $7.95 to do the transfer.
They say it is because they automatically renew for one year.

Well, I do not need to renewal, I’m already good till 2016.

How could I get this done without getting charged?

I want all my domains on one registrar for easier managment. I don’t want to use another registrar.

Forget it, we are going to let it ride on the current registrar.

I believe you will need to get in touch with potential registrars and then try to negotiate about the fee.
