Query about "simple" booking system

I’ve been asked to put together a “simple” booking system for a home-education group my kids are part of.

I’ve mainly got experience of working with ASP, but have done a bit of tweaking with PHP.

They’d like a simple setup where they can add activities (e.g. role-play, swimming, woodwork etc), and then have people go onto the site, and add their kid’s names to the activity.

E.g.

Woodwork November -

Add: John Smith, Clare Smith etc.

That way, they can keep track of who is attending which activity.

I know this is pretty simple, but as I am strapped for time, I wondered if anyone is aware of a site which offers pre-written scripts for lazy idiots like me to use please?

If not, I’ll stop being lazy and work out how to do it myself in PHP.

Any advice much appreciated.

Have you considered setting up a semi-private google calander to manage the different groups?

Thanks for the reply. Is it possible to add names to activities / events via that route?

I know I could sign up and find out, but thought I’d ask on the offchance.

Yes it is, they’re called guests.
