Hello all, completely new this forum and I have a question that I wanted to ask you. I have searched through the forums, and could not find what I was looking for. But I need a little help with pricing. Basically, this is a small website for a small dog selling business. The man breeds standard poodles (in wonderful conditions by the way) and sells the puppies. I imagine he could technically get into Wordpress or Wix or something similar and figure it out, but he has asked me to do this due to time constraints and possibly not feeling confident enough. I’m planning on charging by product I guess you could say.
Domain Name: $xx.xx
Privacy: $xx.xx
Hosting: $xx.xx
Monthly Site Maintenance: $xx.xx (Any changes or picture updates he needs. New Puppies!)
These few things I pretty much have figured out how I want to charge. But then there’s the actual development of the site. I’m not much of a designer, but I know code. I can code whatever he needs within reason, but I don’t have much of an eye for design, so I was planning on using a template I suppose. I know people have mixed feelings about this, if you have a better suggestion, I’m all ears. But how much do you charge for something like this? Like I said, this is for a small business in the Rural South. Any advice is appreciated.
