Problem with parent.location.reload(1)

I am using a thickbox to prompt for login
With successful login i want to close the Thick box and refresh the parent window
It’s working in some in IE but not in some other browsers.
Please give me Feed back

Hi,
My prob is i am getting the result expected when i run locally in any systems
But in US where my friend tried this tht did not work
wuld it be the prob with locale settings??
