Pages not dropped from Google cach - 10wks - delete them?

There are two types of pages that are showing the old, prior titles on Google searchbar results:

a) pages having “noindex” (G. still showing cached pages on the Google site that started from December)

b) those that were not changed at all, yet have been unconnected from my live site since late December (showing old titles on my sites’ G custom searchbar - which is confusing to visitors) (and these under the Google site results showing only with ‘simila’ link at bottom, and not ‘cache’)

Is it alright to simply remove ‘a)’ or ‘b)’ types or both from the server after this amount of time?

Many of these pages have been redirecting to new ones with 301’s

You explanation seem to make your question confusing. Are you saying Google has two version of your pages in its search result pages? If that is the question, the one you should delete is the old pages.
