No book for Angular 2 and no book for Laravel ? Really?

I could not find on premium a book or course for Angular 2 or Laravel.
Which is weird. Can you give en URL for angular 2 course or Laravel course please ?

Hey @jpfernandezl,

Did you know there is an upvote area for requests like this or if a request already exist to show your excitement on it by voting for it?

Also, I’m going to go ahead and ping @ophelie and @angelamolina so they are aware of this suggestion.

Hey @jpfernandezl!
You’re right, we don’t have either of those topics as courses. The good news is we do have a Laravel course currently in works which should be out in the next 2 months.

In regards to Angular, we are currently working on having this course made and hope to have something out by next year. Unfortunately, courses take a while to make — there’s a lot of work involved in making great quality courses.

Of course there are and many on pluralsight.com and udemy.com

By far the best one is and it’s updated with latest RC5. He constantly updates the course.

What is the poing of premium sitepoint if you have to take courses on udemy or pluralsight ?

Why do you expect sitepoint to have all the technology you want to learn?

I do not expect all the technology, 50% would be fine.
But expect that you know about customer service and clearly you do not.
Your replies are useless and unpolite.

You just answered yourself. Angular 2 is not in your 50%. I’ve given you the best Angular 2 resource and my replies are pointless. Clearly you don’t appreciate people’s help.

How can your answer be, go and buy from our competitors ?
When you enter a mac store, they do not tell to go buy android phones.

To get back on-topic, as posted

This has long been a problem with printed books.
By the time it goes from concept to publish much is already out-of-date.

Because web development is so diverse and changes so rapidly it is near impossible to keep up.

I can understand the disappointment with signing up for an educational site and discovering that not all that I am personally interested in learning is not available.

IMHO SitePoint does very well in offering many interesting topics. And there is a way to make “requests”

Well, OK, but I wanted them now!

Yes, disappointing that I have to either wait or go elsewhere, unfortunately those are the options.

I think perhaps you’re assuming that all replies in this thread are from SitePoint staff. Only @angelamolina is staff; the rest of us are just forum volunteers or regular members, trying to offer useful information.
