Need advice to improve site design and colour scheme make it look a little bespoke and modern

I would like some advice on what I can do to improve my basic site design to look a little bespoke and modern, im not sure what i could do,

I have thought of dropping the search bar down and adding a banner.

im also not sure on a colour scheme, I have thought of what colours I like but dont sure how well they will work.
Im also have no clue how to use them, which colour should i have as the main colour (menus) which colour should i use ads the 2nd colour (buttons) same for the 3rd colour

two colour schemes ive looked at colour choice 1

Colour choice 2

Here is what the basic site looks like

I can see that you are using classicraft wordpress theme.

There’s a huge scope for improvement in this website

It is a very flexible theme without all the template files mentioned separately in the editor. About the color, the second one looks good but you should also work on the layout a little bit. I have two websites running on the same theme.

1st one is not active and requires tweaks on the mobile version but second one is active and doing good.

That’s not really a helpful comment, is it @Zubair_Abbas? The OP is asking for specific suggestions. Do you have any?

The second color scheme link doesn’t work for me (I see red and black and the color picker is off the wheel).

The first looks a little too bright, especially if you’re going to have all that white in your look. Contrast and softness would do wonders for the look.

My advice would be to play with/increase the use of White Space.

For example, between the main section (Ad Categories, Latest, Popular…) and the sidebar (Sponsored Ads) there is little room. Same with the buttons (Manage Ads and Edit Profile) and the text above. I see horizontal lines under many items that could be deleted. Use white space as natural divider. It will look cleaner.

Have in mind that White Space matters:
