Looking for advice

Hi all,

I am studying at University of Arizona. I have been unable to cope up with my studies owing to my illness. I have an heart condition which requires me to stay at bed for a long time. Is there any way I can get some additional classes or help to enhance my grades? Again I am living in Tucson. Please provide me with some advice and suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

I don’t really know if this is the right forum to ask this on…

How’d you get the idea that we could help you with that?

In relation to web…take online courses?

This forum is perfectly appropriate.

I don’t have any suggestions to offer beyond looking at web-based classes at other universities (if yours doesn’t offer them), but I’m sure others will chime in.

i don’t know, but at least you can get help from your friends or familiy, classmates. Online courses are workable, but i think the important thing for you is getting better.

The first thing to do (IMO) is talk to your university advisor (or whomever you contact at your university to talk about these kinds of things). See with them what the possibilities are.

mate let the studies go and enjoy the life for a while and when you think you have done enough then lie around and study

I…really don’t recommend this.

In my view, no one should ‘let the studies go’ as they will turn out to be very influential in finding a career and getting a good job.

Will it define your life as happy if you study hard? Not necessarily.
Will you get a good job automatically? Not necessarily, but much more likely.

Online classes would be appropriate. There are many universities that are offering online courses and that will help you keep up with your grades and make up with the lessons.

Public classes of Netease are fantastic, there are many kinds of class for you to choose from. The teachers are from Harvard, stanford and other famous universities in the world, Have a try, they may suit for you. Good luck!
