From what I understand Yield Manager (Right Media’s ad exchange) is very much alive well. They may be making some changes, but I doubt its going anywhere to be honest. The rumours feel just like that, rumours.
What they have closed is DMX (Direct Media eXchange), which was the free and easy single login interface for publishers. The ad networks will continue to use YM, but publishers will just have to deal with each network individually.
