I have a url that has a swear word in it and I want to build a site around it. What I want to build it about has nothing sexual in it, but I’m curious, will my adsense account not work because their is a cuss word in the title? The word is f*ck by the way.
I think you’d still be ok. Stick Adsense on and wait and see…the Adsense team will let you know soon enough if you have to remove the ad code.
there’s something in the adsense TOS on content policies about blasphemy. blasphemy isnt just about religion, it’s anything that can be offensive to a "normal"person. And people are getting more and more sensitive about everything.
I wouldn’t base a new site on a swear word, only one complain from an adword advertizer and the site cannot display adsense anymore, not worth my time.
