How do i export sliced image from photoshop to dreamweaver

What file extension do i save it as. I do this in firworks by importing fireworks HTML in dreamweaver but don’t know how to do it with dreamweaver.

What software are you using? You mention Photoshop in your title and then talk about Fireworks. I don’t use Fireworks (often) but I know you can ‘Save for Web and Devices’ in Photoshop and choose HTML & Images when you go to choose a name for your file. I believe Fireworks also has this option. You would just then need to open up the HTML file generated by Photoshop/Firworks in Dreamweaver to make any amendments to HTML, CSS, etc. Hope this helps!

How exactly do i do import the html into dreamweaver.

You just need to right click on the HTML file generated by Fireworks/Dreamweaver and choose ‘Open in Dreamweaver’. Or the other way would be to open it from inside Dreamweaver.

Use the slice option in save as webpage option in photoshop and after the saving the images use that images folder with dreamweaver cs4

You can save a normal jpeg file or save as web file in photoshop and then can define the same name in your dreamweaver coding or css and then specify the exact length and breadth as well you can easily import it.

The slow but sure method of doing this:

Duplicate layer to new psd. Crop. Save. Done!
