How can I replicate the effect on my computer (I dont have an Iphone) so I can see whats happening and correct the problem…

The best way to test iPhone rendering if you don’t have one is to download the iPhone developer kit, which includes the iPhone Simulator. Only downsides are that it’s a huge download, and only works on a Mac.
