I suspect that your friends may have mislead you (or perhaps you saw the Twitter spam that has been doing the rounds). The forum isn’t a place to make money – it is a place to discuss web design and development. We’re all here to help each other out.
Are you sure? If that is, this is not a money making site nor a paid to post site. You can look at the different categories of this site. This is just like any of the forums out there, except that this site is for pure discussion on matters that actually make sense online and probably offline as well.
