I was wondering if anyone has purchased any of their templates? I guess they include all of the code for the entire ecommerce site. I have never built a ecommerce website before and I am wondering how I can create a custom site to sell about 15 products. I hate to spend time learning Magento. Any ideas?
Never really heard much about ecommercertemplates, but shopify is a good option.
I have used it on my store pretty-chic.co.uk - the set up was pretty simple and I’m a designer rather than developer. I started with one of the templates and made my changes in Dreamweaver - took a weekend to set up the design and inventory and have been making tweaks over the last couple of months to get where I am now.

If you want to avoid spending time learning a full combined CMS and store solution like Magento, and instead want to be able to buy a website template and add-in the store features to the template directly, you could look to a hosted shopping cart ecommerce plugin solution?
A hosted shopping cart ecommerce plugin solution would allow you to copy and paste auto generated blocks of text/script in to your webpages, things like Add to Cart, Buy Now, Checkout buttons etc. without having to have a database backend or install any shopping cart software on your own web host, reducing your ongoing maintenance for upgrades compared to installed software.
Double check what you are getting.
I suggest to go with community projects. You can get more from that.
You can try options like opencart or magento. You can always buy templates for those if you need once you decide to use them.
I have used them since 2003, left them in 2010 for Interspire shopping cart which is more expensive, and whose customer service completely sucks, and their shopping cart is full of bugs.
Now that my year of customer service is expired for Interspire, I have to pay USD 250.00 to get my store fixed due to a bug in their script!
And they take 5 days to answer support, and only 5 minutes to answer sales when I contacted them about a possible upgrade.
I am going back to Ecommercetemplates.com, no bugs, easy to setup, no templates which lets you use any design you can find online, and integrate php includes easily which is what gave me a hard time in Interspire.
In short, go with Ecommercetemplates well worth for the USD 150.00, and don’ bother with Interspire, they suck big time!

Lately I notice sales for me via template monster. There are quite big and have a lot of content on their site. You should look also there.
Advice: decide first on the platform. For example if you choose wordpress lot’s of free templates, for joomla the same and I guess you will find also free templates for magento.
