It does not have to come after anybody (~; the 256th day itself is geeky enough. While not as popular as “systems administrator appreciation day” (which also is not after anybody), it too gains popularity each year.
Look I am not arguing that each and everyone should celebrate or even recognise it - my thinking was… Cheers !
