I use both Google and Bing webmaster tools and neither report any serious problems. Only SEO suggestion I get on bing is that my page description is too long.
Bing tells me I’m mobile friendly, my data schemas are good and it has my sitemap, but still refuses to include me in search results.
I have read that the big differences are
Bing relies more on exact keywords, google is better at synonyms and context
Bing gives more credit for longevity, google not so fussed
Bing REALLY likes inbound links, google likes them but not as much
We have plenty of ‘bed and breakfast in worcestershire’ phrases in there.
The site has been around since beginning of 2013, rewritten as responsive Sep 2015.
We have just about 0 inbound links. Do you think that’s what is putting Bing off?
There is nothing obvious that jumps out, only the strange choice if your <h1> which is the search results. Shouldn’t the text “Bed and Breakfast in Worcestershire” be the h1?
I’m not sure about the page title “Bed and Breakfast in Worcestershire - comprehensive listing of b&b in Worcestershire” seems a but ‘stuffy’ to me, not sure if Bing picks up on that.
I agree the ‘comprehensive’ bit is a little stuffy, but I have a partner who likes it… And, a lot of b&b visitors are a little older than the average web user.
And surely Bing can’t have a ‘stuffy’ filter??
By “Stuffy” I mean Keyword Stuffing, that is over cooking the seo. I maybe didn’t make that clear.
By all means say “Bed and Breakfast in Worcestershire” in the title, but don’t say it twice in the title.
