I got an 100USD Google Adwords Coupon on Valentine’s day. But I already opened Adword account. This coupon is only for new users, I found recently. How can I do for it?
Create a new account with a new email address. Make the fools pay for their mistakes grrr.

They sent me a coupon that I couldn’t use too. Very frustrating. They know who already has accounts, why are they wasting money sending people coupons they can’t use?
Well it’s working for me at the moment, as I’m in the same boat as okhand. I received a voucher and only discovered after wasting too much time setting the campaign up that I couldn’t use the damn voucher because I was an existing user.

You noob… I am doing the same thing. I was a exiting user, but I created a new account and used the code.
I was an existing user and they still let me use the code.
They sent me 3 of those that week. One in the valentine’s card, and one to each of my Google Analytics accounts. I’m not using them though.

Ok I apologise for my ignorance. People do it all the time so that must be fine, yes? I know a guy who robbed a bank and didn’t get caught, so does that mean I am allowed to go and rob banks now?
Robbing a bank and using a coupon that Google gave me to use are in two different leagues.

Nothing so long as you don’t get caught, apparently.
We are digressing from the original point anyway. Open another account to use your voucher if you want to. But beware, this is against the rules and at some point in the future Google could easily detect that you have two accounts.
Which is exactly why I don’t use the coupons. Maybe some of you have nothing to lose, never being able to advertise with the largest advertising company in the world doesn’t matter to you. But I have a business, and I don’t take pointless chances, even if the risks are slim.

I thought that in certain circumstances you could have multiple Adwords accounts. From Adwords Help.
Only client managers (such as third parties or search engine marketers) who use a My Client Center can have multiple AdWords accounts.
Maybe that’s not appropriate here, though.
I thought the restriction on the number of accounts was to stop people running multiple ads on the same keywords, but I might be wrong.
That’s got to be one of the main reasons. The marketplace is balanced around each slot on the SERPs going to a different advertiser.
I don’t think there’s a big ethical issue here, the point of the coupons is to get people more involved with AdWords, there’s some value even in attracting a past advertiser to spend more time in the system. The only reason I don’t use the coupons is that I don’t want to risk my main account being closed for any reason.
