While watching TV last night I saw a movie that opens on Christmas day at the movie theater. The name escapes me now but I’ve since learned that Fat Albert movie is also opening on Christmas. I was talking to a few people about it and they say that alot of people goto the movies on Christmas as a tradition. I’ve never heard of that!?! I guess Christmas day is always a busy day full of family and such and we never had the time to goto the theater.
I was just wondering if any of you have this tradition?
I’ve been to the movies on Christmas day before. My family does the whole party thing on Christmas Eve and we open presents in the morning. The rest of the day is pretty open. Also, movie theaters are one of the few places that are open Christmas day, so it’s either go there or go to the bar
Lots of movies open on Christmas. I don’t have time to do it this year, since we’re trying to figure out how to visit both my family and my girlfriend’s family on the day when we don’t have a car and both are around 1 hour away on the bus…
But yeah, busy day for movies. Not so cool if you work in a movie theatre.
my family does that but its only because we dont celebrate christmas… so what usually what happens is we go for chinese food because they are usually opened and then we catch a couple of movies because everyone is off in my family…
and they usually arn’t that full because so many people do celebrate christmas so they are busy doing their thing… and we thus go out and do our thing…
