Till now I was using the online way to create/upload files/folders to Github.
But now, I need to upload a project which has many folders and files. So can Github desktop help me in easy uploading of so many folders?
Thats the Question for now. If yes then I will download it and come back if I need more help.

In short, yes. You can assemble everything on your machine first before uploading it all.
