If you are new to SEO, then the place to start is Google’s “Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide”. That will tell you all the basics.
However, this is one instance where I would advise you to look for a reputable marketing company to take care of this side of things for you. I’m sure you have more than enough to do as a doctor, without trying to tackle SEO and marketing yourself.

Hi buddy. Here are a few pointers to get you going.
1. Publish good, hugh quality and relevant content regularly in order to increase Dwell Time.
2. Make sure that the Loading speed of you page is fast enough.
3. Optimize all the images on your page and give them ALt tags.
4. Don’t forget to use the header tags aptly while writing content. Make appropriate use of them. Search engines also rate keywords in header tags more heavily.
5. To make your content more useful and relevant, you can link out to authority sites for more in-depth information your readers can use.
6. Make sure your website has very few or 0 broken links (if possible). because Broken links make for bad usability.
7. Making your content easy to read and understand helps make it useful to your readers. Some experts also believe that Google takes readability into account when ranking webpages.
8. Including a Contact Us page on your website and putting the link in the navigation, greatly improves the user experience

In 2017, I started a blog, I was doing the off-page SEO but I was not doing the On-page correctly. So, I was not able to get the rankings despite many quality backlinks. So, I would suggest you do the on-page SEO and use google webmasters tool for indexing your pages in the Google. There are several blogs and articles you will find online! Go ahead. If you will make mistake then you will definitely learn something!
You need to run search engine optimization campaign, because SEO is a secure, organic and free way to build traffic in website . If we talk about paid campaign like PPC, is a paid campaign will increase your budget and we know 70% users ignore the ads.
You need to go for SEO and social media campaign.
