Find where site is Hosted?

Hi,

My client recently registered his domain with godaddy.

However, he doesn’t know where it is hosted.

How can I find where the site is hosted? Godaddy seem unable to help me.

If all he did was buy the domain it’s not hosted anywhere. He’ll have to set up hosting with another company.

If it really is hosted, you can try a whois search.

Domain Tools may help in the future. Here’s an example:
http://whois.domaintools.com/sitepoint.com
